Even when I do my best,
my life gets tarnished with sin.
Lord, I don't mean to be that way.
Please change me from within.
Change my heart, Oh Lord, I pray
so folks will see You in me.
Lord, help me live life as I should,
be all You'd have me be.
Oh Lord, I'm so very far from perfect.
I do, say things I regret.
Lord, I know I need You every moment
but sometimes I forget,
don't think, don't stop to talk with You,
come to You after instead of first,
go wandering off doing my own thing
and that's when I get hurt.

Oh Lord, please change the heart of me,
help me keep my eyes on You.
Mold me on Your potters wheel
'til I'm more like You in all I say and do.
Help me to always seek what's good,
to find and uphold the truth.
Lord, keep on reminding me
when I start following the herd,
there's a mighty precipice ahead
but salvation in Your Word.
Help me, Lord, to follow You
wherever You may lead.
Keep Your light shining for me, Lord
and help my eyes to see
that I won't stumble over worldly rocks
or get tangled up with weeds.
Forgive me of my sins, Dear Lord.
Provide my every need.
Help me to trust in You completely
'til the day Your Kingdom comes.
Make the needed changes in my heart.
Oh Lord, Your will be done.

Oh precious Lord and Savior,
my all, my King of kings,
change my heart to please Your heart
so honor I may bring
to You in praise and in thanksgiving
that we may never drift apart.
Thank You, Lord for loving me.
Oh Lord, please fill my heart.
Fill my heart with compassion,
with wisdom, strength and peace,
with all I need to live for You,
Lord, shine from the heart of me.
